Flags flew high, and patriotism filled the air Monday morning as the Camp Hill, PA, community gathered for its 107th annual Memorial Day Parade and remembrance ceremony. Families lined the streets waving American flags as local bands, scout troops, and veterans marched in a show of unity and respect.

Pennsylvania American Water Teamster members have voted to approve a new five-year contract. The agreement builds on their first contract, which included provisions such as substantial pay increases, double time for work performed on a holiday, paid lunches and breaks, premium overtime language, and daily job protection with eight-hour guarantees.

3,500 Workers Walk Out As Teamsters, Union Coalition Launch LIRR Strike

May 17, 2026 | STRIKES | Teamsters with the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen (BLET) at the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) have launched a strike alongside their bargaining coalition of 3,500 workers from five unions. The LIRR is the busiest commuter railroad in America, with 300,000 daily passengers. It is owned and operated by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA).
